Marist Brothers' Monastery and Marist College (QHR)

The Marist Brothers Monastery at Rosalie, designed by George Frederick Addison, son of noted architect and artist George Henry Addison, was built in 1929. Its construction provides evidence of the expansion of the Catholic Church during the term of Archbishop Duhig, and remains as the headquarters of the Marist Brothers in Queensland. It is also significant for its landmark and architectural qualities, and is a fine example of the ecclesiastical work of Brisbane architect George Frederick Addison.
