This brick church was opened on Anzac Day 1929 and was constructed in response to the needs of the Anglican Congregation in the newly formed parish of Wilston. The church has a longstanding connection with the parishioners of Wilston and has remained in continuous use since its construction. The church was dedicated to parishioners, friends and relatives who had served or perished during World War One.
