This property was acquired in 1903 in the name of Annie McDonald, wife of carpenter James McDonald. The house, known as ‘Thurso’, was completed by July 1911, and although offered for sale, was retained by the McDonald family who used it as their residence. James McDonald was elected an Alderman of the Windsor Town Council in 1917 and served until 1925.

History
At Wooloowin, a new house, just finished, 3 bedrooms, drawing, dining rooms, combined, extended front, Wunderlich ceilings, kitchen, bathroom, bricked in copper, 9 foot verandas, back veranda 12 foot, with sliding window, painted in and out, 60 feet frontage.
