This highly attractive Federation era timber house was built between 1902 and 1905 by Thomas Johnston, a contractor. The Johnston’s continued to own the property until the 1950s. The residence is a fine representation of Clayfield’s development in the early twentieth century as a desirable address and makes a a strong contribution to the Norman Parade streetscape.
