This stately home was built circa.1895 for Robert Bell and his family. It was named ‘Verona’ and remained in the Bell family until the 1930s. Situated on a prominent corner site on the corner of Cavendish and Chatsworth Road, this residence makes a strong contribution to the Cavendish Road streetscape and demonstrates the residential growth of Coorparoo in this era.
