This graceful timber house was constructed between 1912 and 1915 for Duncan and Bertha Macmillan. As part of the ‘Langlands Estate’, the house was situated relatively close to the Old Cleveland Road tramline. The property remained in the Macmillan family until the 1970s. Named ‘Davaar’, the house is evidence of Coorparoo’s suburban development in the early twentieth century.
