Kedron State School was established in 1926 after a great deal of lobbying by the Kedron community to the Department of Public Instruction for the need of a primary school in the area. When first opened, the number of students enrolled was 171. The historically significant structures within the school are block ‘B’ and ‘C’. The state school has served the Kedron community for many years and continues to do so. It is evidence of the suburb’s growth in the interwar years.
