Henry Alfred Goldfinch, a Sydney trained dentist acquired this property in 1929, presumably living and working from a house existing on site. He lodged an application to construct a brick and tile residence on the site in October 1932. It is likely this small building adjacent to the house was built as his surgery and used for that purpose until the early 1940s. It has since been used for a variety of commercial ventures.
