This Californian Bungalow was built circa 1936 for bookmaker, Cyrus Henry Mable and his wife Rachel. Cyrus Mable was also known by the alias of Harry Weld. Harry Weld unsuccessfully stood for election as an independent candidate for the municipal ward of Hamilton in 1949.
